Ceramic is scratch-resistant (9 Mohs) but brittle. A drop onto tile or concrete from 3+ feet can crack the case. In 4+ years of shipping J12 reps, we've had ~2% of buyers report cracks from drops. Genuine J12 has the same issue — it's a ceramic property, not a rep flaw.
Automatic J12 vs quartz J12 — genuine has both?
Genuine Chanel switched J12 to automatic (Kenissi caliber 12.1) in 2019 — before that some J12 references were quartz. Our current rep is automatic to match modern J12. If you want quartz for accuracy, we can source it (WhatsApp us) but it's the older-style rep.
Boy·Friend rectangular case sizing?
Boy·Friend medium is 30mm × 37mm. Fits on 5.5"-7" wrists comfortably. Below 5.5" wrist, the case length overhangs. Ladies-only sizing — men's wrists (7"+) will look like the watch is too small on you.
Chanel Première rope-chain bracelet — real chain?
The Première has a rope-chain-look leather+chain hybrid bracelet — the chain is real metal, the leather strap connects the two ends. Our rep matches the genuine construction. Delicate — this is a going-out watch, not daily gym-wear.
